Who we are
River of Life Private Limited ("River of Life", "Company", "we", "us" or "our"), creator of Scale Insights, and Scale Insights Private Limited ("Scale Insights", "Company", "we", "us" or "our"),
licensee of the software, are both private limited companies from Singapore.
We are an ecommerce company that also develops SaaS applications for Amazon sellers.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Please read this policy carefully. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to our privacy policy.
Who we share your information with
We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties. We share it only in the following cases:- With the companies that provide the software and infrastructure we use to run Scale Insights: our hosting and database providers, online payment service provider, email delivery and email marketing service providers, and our customer relationship management (CRM), website and product analytics, tag management, in-app guidance and customer support providers. We do not work with or share your information with advertising agencies, marketing agencies or data brokers.

- If our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case your information may be transferred to the acquiring party and we will notify you. We will not transfer your Google user data in this way without your explicit prior consent.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website or use our application, we may use third-party analytics and tag management tools, tracking technologies, and cookies to collect information such as your browser, country, language, time of visit, referral and the pages you visit. We may also collect your IP address, which can identify you. We use this information to measure our marketing and to better understand how people use our website and application so that we can improve their experience. The types of providers we use are listed under "Who We Share Your Information With".
Collection of Personal Information (or "PII")
We collect PII that you give to us voluntarily from the following sources:- When you contact us through the "live chat platform" and leave your email address, we keep a record of your email address in order to respond to you.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is transferred to our email marketing tool and is used to send you newsletters, marketing communications and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- When you create a Scale Insights account, we collect your name and email address so that you can access our services. We may also use them to send you product updates and marketing emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you sign up with Google, see "Sign in with Google" below.
- When you make any financial transactions with us, your financial information is transferred to our online payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, expiry date or CVC code.
- When you integrate your Amazon data, we keep a record of your API access credentials to download your advertising campaigns and seller information, in order to provide you with analytics and to optimize your own Amazon advertising campaigns on your behalf.
Sign in with Google
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a unique Google account ID.
We do not access any other Google account data, such as your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts.
We store your name, email address and Google account ID. We do not store your profile picture.
We use your name and email address to create your Scale Insights account and to contact you about your account, such as service, billing and security notices.
We use your Google account ID to link your Google sign-in to your Scale Insights account. We may also use your name and email address to send you
product updates and marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not use your Google user data for advertising or remarketing, and we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
We do not sell your Google user data. We share it only with the software and infrastructure tools listed under "Who we share your information with",
where required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with your explicit prior consent.
We do not transfer or disclose your Google user data to third parties for purposes other than the ones described in this policy.
We do not use or transfer your Google user data for targeted, personalized, retargeted or interest-based advertising, or for user advertisements;
to sell to data brokers or information resellers; to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes; or to create databases.
Your Google user data is stored securely and kept while your account is active. Following deactivation of your account,
we delete it as described under "Data Retention and Deletion".
If you receive our marketing emails, your name and email address stay on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@scaleinsights.com.
You can also remove our access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Scale Insights' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to
the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Security
We take the security of your information, including your Google user data, very seriously, and we have security procedures in place to protect its confidentiality.
We use encryption to protect your information, both when it is transmitted and when it is stored.
Access to the systems that store your data is protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA). Your data is stored with a major database provider.
Despite our measures to safeguard your data, we cannot guarantee that your information is fully protected,
because data transmitted over the internet is never completely secure.
Data retention and deletion
We retain the personal and account data described above for as long as your account remains active. Historical Amazon advertising and sales data is subject to a rolling two (2) year retention period: data older than two (2) years may be periodically removed from Scale Insights. You may download historical data through the Historical Data Archive in your account settings before it is removed. Following deactivation of your account, we delete your account data from our application. Copies held by these tools or in backups are deleted according to their own retention schedules. If you receive our marketing emails, your name and email address remain on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@scaleinsights.com.
Disclosure of your information
We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes. However, if our assets are acquired by a third party, your information may be transfered to the acquiring party.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We reserve the rights to change our Privacy Policy at our sole discretion from time to time. If we do make changes to the privacy policy, this page will be updated with the revision date at the top of the page. You are advised to check this page for any updates.
